Personality:
What's probably the most obvious trait that Matthew has is that he's happy. He's carefree and most things don't tend to get him down. There's often a shallowness to how he experiences the world that's partly due to the fact that Ronan made him when he was 3 years old and so a lot of complexities of the human condition are beyond Matthew. He searches out happy moments and would sooner just have the sun on his face and not notice that the world is burning around him. Matthew is also extremely simple-minded. He doesn't think too deeply about most things. He accepts what he's told no matter how outlandish it might be. He trusts that his brothers are always honest with him and would never lie. Matthew does what he's told, for the most part, he doesn't ask questions about most things. He looks for his next meal, his next chance to play an annoying song to drive Declan or someone else crazy. He doesn't think much further than that. He wants others to be happy and seeing sadness does seem to bother him but he doesn't usually have the best ability to do much to help people fix their moods. In his canon point, he is coming from the revelation that he is a dream thing and that Ronan has been lying to him. He's angry and hurt for the first time in his life and it was by the person he trusted and loved the most.

Matthew's also oblivious which is a severe understatement really. He could be walking through a hostage situation and not notice the tension or that anything is wrong. He doesn't have any sense of danger from things or people around him and tends not to really get it when he is in danger. In this way, Matthew is also an extremely dependent person. He depends on Ronan and Declan for everything. While he's at school by himself he's been wandering away and although this is connected to him being a dream thing he is also completely reliant on Declan and Ronan to find him when he wanders off and leaves school. While he doesn't usually get in trouble he has been increasingly causing issues with his strange behavior.

Weaknesses/Temptations: Matthew is pretty much easily lured by food, annoying music and general mischief. He's gullible and anything that looks like it's fun is going to be something he's weak for and tempted by.

Sins: Sloth, Gluttony, Idolatry (while Matthew is a devout Catholic, he does still basically worship his brother too), Situationally Unforgiving

Powers/Abilities: Matthew doesn't really have any powers or abilities. He is a dream thing so his life is connected to his brother's life in that he can't really stay alive if Ronan's not alive.
